In recent years I have returned to my textile roots and developed a passion for knitting fairisle patterns and garments.
Working with found, and hand dyed yarns I have developed the patterns and colours based upon my everyday travels through my garden and the landscape, allowing the colours and shapes around me to speak
This wearable art is my passion. If I can create the colours from with in the landscape and from the materials in it, this adds to the connectedness of the textile.
In recent years I have also started to return to stitched journeys through the medium of SLOW stitch .
This brings together my practice of meditation and my passion for textile art .
I have started to teach it too in a variey of loactions including working with those struggling with their metal health .
I have recently formed the Whitstable Textile Society .
